The legend my dear friend Alfred

As I sit to write these few words I still can't believe you're gone I think of the times we spent from boys to men and all the things we got upto, the only thing I can do is smile remembering the good times, I remember you were always experimenting with electrics so when we put our band together you were the obvious choice to deal with all the sound issues. I remember when you got us the gig at the polytechnic to play as a supporting act for Azwad this still stands as one or the best thing we did as youngsters and playing at the school disco, many people didn't know you were serious drummer.

I remember when we used to play down the flats as kids you used to come running with rex your mad dog that used to get exited and chase us wow the good old days.

So sad your no longer here, that last thing we said at your mum's 90th birthday party was we need to linkup before the end of the year, just wished I could have said goodbye but it was not meant to be.

You were kind, clever and never one to cause a fuss.

Sleep tight my dear friend, you will never be forgotten.

Your longtime friend

Horace Bernard.
